The Tsivasula Fortress is built in the 11th and 12th centuries at the meeting point of Saghoreti and Agaristskali. It is located about 0,5 km from the central road and its area is 400 sq. m. The main function of the prison was to control the roads leading to the Adjaristskali Gorge and Agaristkali. The name of the fortress and the village is connected with the name of its owner - Tsivadzes.
